1- AXIAL CONSTANT LINE - The constant starting point of a profile, some templates have less. Industry standard is 10mm 0r .394". All of our templates have the 10mm axial constant unless noted on the drawing. Please communicate up front what your preference is.

2- REFERENCE POINTS - Rights and Top cutterheads reference from right side of cutterhead with tops of the gib screw pointing away from you, or corrugations in cutterhead parallel and closest to your chest. Left and Bottom cutterheads reference from left side of cutterhead with tops of the gib screw pointing away from you, or corrugations in cutterhead parallel and closest to your chest. Hook angles of cutterheads will be noted on first orders.

3- NAMES - Your company name and the name of the profile just in case you loose the paperwork and need to reorder another template.

4- FULL SCALE, 3-D, COLOR DRAWING - Full Scale color drawing in 3D with no dimensions to get in the way of your view. Size and name of profile directly below drawing for easy reference. These can also be used in the future for your catalogs.

5- CUT STEEL OR CARBIDE SIZE - This is a Mirror Reflections Trademark. The cut steel size or carbide size is on every drawing Mirror Reflections designs. It is crucial to have the correct size of steel or carbide to fit your profile and to have the axial constant in that design saving you time during set up of the machine. Check your knife stock to make sure you have what is needed when your templates or knives arrive.

6- DIMENSIONS - All crucial dimensions given on template layout drawing. Height, width, depth of cut, this is the minimum and maximum tool dimensions for input in your machine, Radius, and special notes on more complicated designs.

7- AXIAL SETTINGS - For generic knives such as Radius, Rabbets, bevels, etc. These are profiles that can be used for hundreds of mouldings. All axial numbers are given, saving you setup time and product waste from your moulder. Add up all the wood you use for setup in a year, the amount can be staggering.
